The Intelligent Intertubes: A Weekly Roundup

Here's your weekly roundup of the CIosphere:

Don't know what to say to the Marketing Department? Strategically Thinking has a great blog that speaks to the marketing benefits of a robust CI function.

AmLaw tells us how the big boys are doing.

The AmLaw Daily says that the future is all about quality. And they mean how clients view quality.

Hildebrandt reports seven law firm mergers and acquisitions in the US in Q3 of 09. Slow compared to Q3 of 08, but on track overall due to a high volume of mergers in Q1.

Meanwhile, AmLaw reports on the hopes for M&A practice groups.

Fuld has a thought-provoking post on the ethics of information gathering. Case studies illustrate the finer - and not so fine - points of what is permissible and what is just wrong.

Do you have blogs/podcasts/sites that you'd like included in the weekly roundup? I'd be ever so delighted if you could send your suggestions to ssanksto@quarles.com.

And hey, Intertubes! Do you have a blog? Perhaps a blog that talks about CI stuff? Then for Heaven's sake, leave a comment and promote yourself shamelessly - or your friend, or some stranger that you think had a pretty good post!

Thanks for the picture, yourfunnyvalentine!
