Fulbright and Jaworski Sixth Annual Litigation Trends Survey Report

Is your litigation practice group wondering about the future? Curious about trends affecting litigation? Want to know the inside scoop on the in-house counsel's perspective?

The largest survey of corporate law departments, Fulbright & Jaworski's 6th Annual Litigation Trends Survey Report, is set to be released on October 15. Building on the success and insights of previous surveys, Fulbright & Jaworski have queried public and private companies in the US and UK for their perspectives on US and global litigation forecasts and current-year trends.

Some highlights from the 2008 report:
  • Survey questions included open-ended responses for narrative and a wider perspective.
  • Responses are combined for an overall picture, as well as broken into practice areas and some industry-specific data is given.
  • Litigation spending is analyzed, and there is a section devoted to e-discovery.
  • The 2008 survey queried law departments in the US and UK, with a total of 358 responses, 251 of them from US-based counsel.

The release of the 2009 survey report will be followed by a free webinar on November 3, which is now accepting registrations. 1 CLE credit will be available.
